Purpose of the gynecological examination:
There are classified into four distinct areas
- Identify anatomical / functional pathological conditions of the female internal genitalia
- Identify anatomical conditions at oncological risk
- Monitor the results of medical / surgical therapies including therapies aimed at medically assisted reproduction
- Detect any changes in other organs and pelvic structures resulting from genital pathological processes
