The incidence of breast cancer is 1:8 women.
The EARLY DIAGNOSIS allows to identify the tumor in the first phase, that is when the dimensions are small and it is still localized. For this reason, women must undergo periodic checks (every 12 – 18 months).
For high-risk (familiar) women, exams should begin at age of 30, for those with no family cases at age of 37 – 40.
After the age of 40, ultrasound must always be associated with a mammogram
