There are different types of courses are organized throughout the year:
Clinical-practical course on patient
In January, Dr. Giuseppe Bianco travel to the Jorio de Escossia clinic in Fortaleza in Brazil with a group of about 8-10 dentists interested in learning advanced surgical techniques on the patient. Mainly, the following are performed:
Maxillary sinus lift, split crest technique, mini-lift, block grafts, immediate loading, preparation of the implant site with piezoelectric techniques.
Particular attention is paid to teaching immediate loading, resolving all doubts of both surgical and prosthetic types to the trainee.
At the end of the week, the trainee will have performed at least 5 cases as first surgeon under the supervision of Dr. Bianco
“One to one” course on maxillary sinus lift
This is a tailor-made course for the colleague who wants to learn this technique. After a theoretical lesson of about 5 hours where anatomy, physiopathology, pharmacology, indications and contraindications to the intervention, management of complications, the use of piezoelectric surgery in sinus surgery will be studied, continues with a view of dozens of cases in digital video format made by Dr. Bianco.
The following day the colleague assists Dr. Bianco on 2 cases of maxillary sinus lift and on the third day the trainee performs his first maxillary sinus lift as the first operator on his own patient, with Dr. Giuseppe Bianco assisting him.
Dr. Giuseppe Bianco goes to New York University twice a year for a period of about 15 days to give lessons to the master’s students. Colleagues can accompany the doctor to the United States, participate in the teaching activity of the N.Y.U. attending the office of his mentor Prof. Dennis Tarnow, and assisting in a non-operative way to the surgeries that will be performed during those days at the university.
